The app is available on iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from any place around the world. It also has a lot of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge requires defrosting, and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill which is an option that is available in other GE fridges that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to dispense at a time. The fridge shows a countdown to show you how much water is left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.
