Mesothelioma Asbestosis

Mesothelioma and asbestosis are caused by exposure to asbestos. Both are long-term health issues. Mesothelioma is a cancerous illness, is different from asbestosis.

Symptoms

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that affects the thin layer of tissue that surrounds organs. Exposure to asbestos may cause it. Asbestos is made up of mineral fibers which are naturally occurring.
