Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a string of social media posts hints at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally announced its NFT (non fungible token) Project. The project is dubbed Space Key and created in collaboration with an unidentified artist and inspired by a piece advanced carbon fiber composite material that was delivered to the International Space Station for research purposes.

The new project - called the Space Key - is a piece of art created in collaboration with a lone artist. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned in the coming weeks.

After numerous social media posts that teased something that was space-related, the Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has entered the world of non-fungible (NFT) tokens with an exclusive project called Space Key. Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. More than 600 million pixels make each of the five images which were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera with lenses to capture the individual images, which were then added to the final picture. The result is a truly out of this world photograph that captures both the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic picture of the car key lamborghini erupting from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there is no exact date or location yet.
